i was named after my fathers best friends daughter, my mother was pregnant while my fathers b.friend daughter was dying..he asked a favor to my father that if ever his next child will be a girl that he will name it after his daughter. after 14 years when my father died i got the chance to met him, without blinking i cant believe what i saw..he resemble my father in any angle..i cant forget what he told me, that my name is fragile as their friendship.

i was named after my mother's favorite church song..tong kaaya-ayang lira. char kaayo kai d ko kaaya-aya! hahahah! so i found a decent meaning on my name...Lyra- of a song. lyrics. heheheh. so far i love it. it also is a name of a star. just look upwards. you'll see me there.

My folks named me Beverly because they have always been fascinated with the elegance and glamour of the famed Beverly Hills in California.

I looked it up it meant, beaver streamer. Though I am honored my parents named me such but I RARELY use the name since it's way too common. That's why I opted to use Beyee/Bey/Yee every time I introduce myself because I find it so unique. Besides I have this penchant for unique things.

If I'm going to change my name, I want Alecxandra (with an x) or Alecxis -- a character from the world-renowned Dynasty series back in the 80's
