to compare the iphone4 and the samsung galaxy s2 would be a great battle.
what are the pros and cons of each phone and what is your verdict and why.
this is to decide what my future phone will be. para dec hehehe.

Comparing them would be like comparing apples to oranges... lahi ra jud kaayo ang duha...

Samsung Galaxy S II :
Pros :
Faster (1.2 Ghz Dual Core)
Better Screen (Super Amoled +, best screen in the market)
More Durable (Naa toy drop test video.. limot nako asa)
Better Camera (1080P Recording and 8 Megapixels)
Lighter and Thinner

Cons:
Android isnt so polished compared to iOS
Android market inferior to iOS
Android is harder to use.

Apple iPhone 4:
Pros :
Very Polished System (no lag, very pretty etc.)
That feeling of "I'm so rich I can afford Apple products"
Better Applications.
Cons :
All the pros of Galaxy S2 balihon lng nimo

I'd go for Galaxy S II, considering that you're residing in the Philippines. With the Android OS, you don't have to unlock or jailbreak anymore unlike the iOS. You can also update Android anytime as well without worrying that it might ruin your phone or something.

And obviously, specs-wise, the Galaxy S2 prevails. The major problem about it, however, is its poor battery life (which is obviously because of the Android OS and the dual-core processor).

EDIT: I've read a lot of complaints against iPhone 4S' poor battery life lately. One of which is an article from GMA News.

if you want money wise go for samsung galaxy sII... and samsung galaxy has better features than iphone4..

however... iphone is iphone and Apple is Apple.. your buying the brand, not the phone..

and what mickopono said the feeling of "holy sh1t i have an iphone!!"..

and iphone4 + jailbreak + tweaks.. daog nah!

i would go for iphone 4 / 4S..
