Went to check out a couple of the games on Saturday (the 2 late games). You guys have a good thing going with the CFFL. What stood out to me was the sportsmanship shown by the players. Nice of the military to let you guys use the field too. It's a nice venue with the covered stands and all.
Also, isn't the music annoying for the players, refs, and coaches? Is music always played during the games? It would drive me crazy...heheh.

We have had several venues before - SVD, USC talamban, San Roque MEPZ and now Camp Lapu Lapu. Camp seems to be the nicest field. The military lets us use it in exchange for a few bottles of wine. Most of the games before were at MEPZ. Not as nice a field but definitely not as strict as camp.

The music ? No way! we love it! During superbowls before I used to bring my own marching band to the game. But then they outllawed it. hehehe. I think they will turn down the music for superbowl.

none bro.. so long as ur physically fit or you dont have any injuries that could hamper your game then you can play. been a long while since i played flag football.. last time i played was before our team got suspended for 1 season..

The Super Bowls Championships of the Norkis Cebu Flag Fotball League will being held this coming Saturday, Dec 2nd,  ***Scheduled at Camp Lapu Lapu in Lahug, but may be played at MEPZ (***see smc's post below***). Also, league consolation games will be played. Entry is FREE and there are plenty of shaded seating areas. Come on out to cheer and support your favorite team.

8:00 am - Women's 5th place game - Bombshells vs. Supergirls

9:15 am - Men's 5th place game - Supermen vs. Piranhas

10:30 am - Women's 3rd place game (Beerbowl) - Dark Angels vs. Chargers

11:45 am - **WOMEN'S SUPERBOWL** - Alpha vs. Sharkettes

1:00 pm - Men's 3rd place game (Beerbowl) - Rebels vs. Cocks

2:15 pm - **MEN'S SUPERBOWL** - Flamingos vs. Sharks

guys - field for this saturday is not final yet. will know this afternoon. It is scheduled for CampLapu Lapu in lahug, BUT it might be played at MEPZ. will post the venue once it is finalized.
