We're looking to hire someone part-time for a small construction project to monitor the progress from the owner's side. Perfect for part-time work or sideline.
We will require daily visits, but on an average of about an hour per day (depending on the construction progress / stage).
Reasonable compensation offered.
Job Description:
- Cost analysis
- Provide internal cost estimates based on construction drawings and specifications, including labor cost.
- Procurement strategy assistance
- Advise the owner on procurement methods and material sources and other methods that will help reduce total construction cost without sacrificing quality
- Check and monitor construction progress
- Confirm that the record architectural plans and specifications are utilized in the construction of the project and no substantive changes are made without client knowledge.
- Verify the percentage of work completed in relation to the current payment application and construction progress schedule.
- Perform a quality control and workmanship inspection.
- Review and evaluate any changes to determine what impact they may have on the budget, schedule and compliance to the original proposed development.
