^^ sorry , but i was not talking about the incompitent policemen we have. i was pointing out the picture taking that happened afterwards. as if walay namatay didto. Students & policemen (SoCO) went there to have their pictures taken with the bus at the background. isn't that sick too? you don't have to go out of th country to understand that it is wrong to do that. SO for me, it is the same. the lost of morality. So, would it be ok to call a whole race immoral/SICK just because of those dumb@$$? di ba dili? di jud na nato igeneralize.

^^ it was a policy that backfired at them in the end. you can research why they ended up with that policy. that is nothing to do with how they think. that policy was made by their government years ago. it almost sounded to me that you think chinese are savages? geez, on offense bai, but you really have to go out more often. im not saying all of them are nice but we should learn how not to generalize. sala sa 1 sala diay sa tanan? when can we really stop racism? nig kita nay maigo? haha..paita.

^^ excatly the point bai.. tungod sa sayop sa uban kita ang nabirahan. the chinese/hong konese then think nga ingon ana diay nang mga pinoy? It was very embarassing bai.
& i am sure that sa chinese side, ulaw sad kaayo ni but you should notice that this news was from the chinese media. you must know nga controlled ang media sa govt nila. For them to release this is a sign that they are alarmed of what is happening. abrupt kaayo ang changes diri bai (not to mention social racism which is by the way similar sa pinas). You have to understand the laws involved here. so we can't expect them to be like pnoys (if one would prefer, but i would still say we are the same, check the other thread, some peps said the bad side of the pnoy "samaritans" too..hehehe ).

for the activist to be able to save that number of dogs (especially karon nga padung winter na, meaing "ting kaon na og iro") is a good step. Great job. I love dogs so i don't really think of them as food..hehe

The biggest questions is, if the incident involving a young girl did not happen, would your opinion about China be any different? This has a huge impact in their culture kay eating dogs has been a tradition in China. Kahibalo ba mo nga i torture pa nila ang iro before patyon para "lami" ang meat? It is believed that the meat is tastier if they torture the animal and that it suffers more.

Sakto..if not becuase of that incident, people probably wont mind. Dog eating is also a common practice in vietnam. It is very hard to break a tradition. Labi na ron nga winter na padung.

In the west they also have foie gras ( duck/goose liver). That is also very controversal pero mokaon man gihapon ang mga dato. Because para nila lami man, normal raman.. No diff with dog meat in asia.
