About Pacquaio army promotion

People seem to forget one major fact: Manny Pacquiao is not fighting solely for the honor of our country. The biggest motive he is doing what he does is the multi-million dollar prize money he gets every time he fights.

He wasn't doing this earlier in his career and he was making Filipinos proud already. The substantial dollars came when he was knocking down opponents in a fashion not often seen - making him such a bankable athlete. It's not his fault if he's paid so much, it comes with his popularity brought about by how he hard he worked to be where he is now. Isn't that honorable enough?

All you schmucks seem to forget that EVERY TIME Manny fights, crime rates drop drastically.

Hell, even the Army and the rebels takes time off from their fighting, declares a ceasefire, and watch the fight. No General in any other army of the world that I know of can do that!

Now, if that doesn't qualify for some sort of recognition, then I dunno what will...

I don't see the relation -- the Army is all about peace and order, and Manny's fights have helped maintain that peace in order if only for the duration of his fights.

Only those who are uninitiated and unfamiliar with how the Ready Reserve Command system will violently react to this "promotion" of Congressman Pacquiao.
