amu skul dri kai java mai gi una before mag C. kai once mamaster na daw kas java, saun nlng man daw ang ubang languages. nya platform independent. dunno sa uban unsai inyu opinion

Actually, there is some truth when you say that when you master java it will be easy to learn other language.
I am one of those cases, I can't say I mastered java but it really made my life easier when I need to learn a new language. Otherwise, it doesn't change the fact, labi na sa COMPE, mubalik gyud mo og C and Assembly, when mag circuits na mo.

Kung Computer Engineering ka, labi na magcircuits na mo, maski na ganahan mo mugamit og Java,
kahinanglan ka makat-on og JNI, which will allow you to communicate with native programs which will most likely be coded in C.

Kanang mga drivers ninyo and whatever machine specific or system specific will most likely have components that are coded in C.
