What are your thoughts on the Cebu Metro BUS?

.. beep beep. The second bus ride i had was cruel, in the sense of it's damn hot. The aircon was dead so we had to open the windows, nice thing it was windy that day. hehe. On a serious note, these buses hasn't caused any traffic jam, yet, hopefully not. It's a good sign. But one thing i don't get is it's Bus Stops?? No proper designated Stops.

I had a chance to ride with one of these buses. From mambaling to SM and I only paid 10pesos that cheap huh. Pero gabarog lang ko til CIT. The conductor is very polite, always thanking the people after riding. Is it always like that? or is it just that bus cionductor.

Yeah bro, hopefully in the near future there will be Bus Stops especially when the riding public has gotten used to it..

an improvement to public transport for us here in cebu, but a big loss to jeepney drivers specially those route that has been serve by those buses. mo daghan mani sla since nagopen man og franchise for buses,very convienient natong mga commuters long term disadvantage - traffic !!! imagine EDSA -- we need to open s r p for good !!!

OK pud para sa mga commuter..... pero part sa mga driver motorist maka traffic mga bus specially mag pick up pasahero sa center sa kalsada..

it'll be great if the city/national gov't pursues it... anything new, i'm all for it... hopefully, affordable and in the long run, ma minimize pud ang traffic og pollution

my mother likes the metro bus. she doesnt mind paying a few extra pesos in exchange for a comfortable commute.

while i'm all for development and change, i also believe that traditional forms of transportation add color to what's uniquely filipino and this would be something the tourism industry may benefit from. perhaps create special zones (like historic or tourism zones) and have them bus-free so that only jeepneys would ply the routes. jeepneys complement those zones more than buses.
