i also had an acquaintance selling military surplus mostly catered for airsoft enthusiasts/collectors and law enforcement. once he accepted a transaction here in cebu and he noticed the accent and looks of the persons he was dealing with. by instinct, he cancelled the deal. told them it was reserved for the day by another buyer. without hesitation, the would be buyers doubled his price but he reasoned out giving his word to the one who reserved. a few weeks later, another transaction but this time another set of men with same accent and looks as those he suspected. still he cancelled the deal. a few days later the men kept threatening him to sell the item. introduced themselves thru text they were abu sayyaf. no choice he had to change numbers and dealt with previous buyers only. pulled out his merchandise online and never gave away his number again.

good thing he cancelled both transactions even if money was on the table. it could have been used against our police/military personnel... luoy pud baya. our soldiers also have families to feed.
