It's not just Canada, it's practically anywhere where there are opportunities that cannot be found here. Sukol man gani ug war zone ang uban, basta lang maayo ug kita.
Para nako lang, we shouldn't be proud of the fact that Filipinos are everywhere. It only goes to show that they are there and not here because if they stayed, they'd be hungry.

the only reason ana is "greener pasture" ..
usually because of a work opportunity in the US (if they qualify for a US visa or admission under NAFTA - they will need qualifications in an area in demand in the US). They may also have a close relative in the US.
Despite what some people might say, the quality of life is very similar in both the US and Canada.
The health care is nice there, even better than US
