The US is waging a war against china via proxy. If you notice they are stepping up efforts to replace regimes in africa(Egypt and Libya, for example) with regimes they can control. China has oil concessions with Gaddhafi and other african nations. What the US is doing is they are controlling Chinese access to light, sweet crude oil.

If china had her way with africa, it may just be a matter of time before africa develops faster compared to the philippines(pun intended, although honestly I don't care)

If war does happen, let's just hope this purges everything wrong with our government, including our constitution.

    Mao gyud.

Come on, is Washington Times and the people around really that gullible to treat this information with any worth? The article itself is writing about an ARTICLE. Mura diay nig Inception? AN ARTICLE IN AN ARTICLE? WE NEED TO GO DEEPER THEN.

If that lead article in a newspaper in China is any legitimate, then that article is highly sensationalized and overly dramatized. For China to invade the Philippines would mean bringing the rest of the party to combat communist China and North Korea considering it is highly punishable to invade third world countries.

And if China were to declare war, then it should be a good time to migrate in a different country since some countries have good shelters of victims of war.

The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise that is attributed to Sun Tzu (also referred to as "Sunzi" and "Sun Wu"), a high ranking military general and strategist during the late Spring and Autumn period (some scholars believe that the Art of War was not completed until the subsequent Warring States period[1]). Composed of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of warfare, it is said to be the definitive work on military strategies and tactics of its time, and is still read for its military insights.
The Art of War is one of the oldest and most successful books on military strategy in the world. It has been the most famous and influential of China's Seven Military Classics: "for the last two thousand years it remained the most important military treatise in Asia, where even the common people knew it by name."[2] It has had an influence on Eastern military thinking, business tactics, and beyond.

The article itself is explicitly written by a stupid warfreak who thinks that being the biggest nation and 2nd largest economy could manipulate everything they wanted to, claim waters which are not theirs, wage war because they have the capability. That is his own stupidity but i believe their own government would even consider war. What would they get from it? Too much expenses on war and rehabilitation would not hel their country. They have over a billion population to feed and for that just one reason they would be hesistant to wage war. Also, Philippines is a US ally and I am pretty sure our country is backed by NATO. Who wouldn't be afraid of such alliance.

There are far too many reasons why they SHOULD NOT stage war.

these has been discuss in the many war rooms inside pentagon and even among war analyst themselves...

nowhere can and will china ever declare war to any sovereign nation as long as there is one bully out there to checkmate her...

it's just like, two bullies teasing each other out.. but neither one of them would be silly enough to profess an open fight unless the other one is heavily provoke already.....
