Real men drive Manual. Wise men drive Automatic, kay ang kamot tua sa paa sa babae. WAkekeke
I used to drive manuals, its advisable for heavy duty cars like the pickups, men do like challenge thats why most of them prefers it, but when I had my first automatic, I love the swift drive, dili nako ganahan mo drive sa manual honestly lang.
Sa automatic kasi less ang stress in shifting gears during traffic and esp.climbing uphill /sloping terrain, dili jud ka ma problema nga ma atrasan ang car nga naa sa imung luyo....and I would highly recommend it for the ladies and or senior citizens kay less hassle jud sya.
idol raba ni nako ang montero dah
Sir pardon me but have you driven the montero? it would take you 4000 rpm for you to feel the kick since its a DIESEL. 2000rpm wont make the car kick.
I'm sorry but if you havent experience the issue and not witnessed it personally then im not sure where you're getting your facts.
Point is, its not 1, 2, or 3 people that experienced this problem, that would be awhole lotta human errors there.
anyways we have decided not to go with mitsubishi for any car variant, not because of the monteros defect but by the way they handled the case. Blaming the consumer for not reading the manual, and not to mention the crappy service car..

korek nothings perfect as we say it, and ang trauma dli ma bayran...
ang part kuno nga mag malfunction is kato air vacuum that would regulate the air going to the intake manifold. thats a new technology mitsubishi is using for the montero. what would happen is the ECU would give more gas because the air coming in to the manifold is being choked by the part said.
the hard part is, its difficult to catch the problem since its intermittent since you cant recreate the issue easily.
as for the buyer, he was informed and told why the car is being sold. he knew the issue but did not care about it, and it was mitsubishi who sold the car to him.
and why would we defend the car when its lives that are at stake here??
