Issued at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, 27 September 2011 Typhoon "PEDRING" has maintained its strength after crossing Northern Luzon and is now over the West Philippine sea.

Coordinates: 16.7°N, 120.0°E
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center
Gustiness of up to 150 kph
