ang mga na.lingaw kay ang mga walay trabaho (they probably have more than enough so they can skip one day of work! Unlike the thousands who NEED to be at work!)

I for one am not against your cause. Nindot na oi. In fact I would push for the regulation and/or downright removal of the jeepneys from the city streets. Walking or biking is good and healthy.

But for crissakes! You people should have thought of the inconvenience you caused! Like one estoryan said above, pollution was worse in the areas where traffic worsened because of the closed roads. Wa jud mo kahunahuna nga you closed the access to the north going south and vice versa?! and instead of going straight, vehicles had to take circuitous routes just to get to their points of destination? That these vehicles consumed more gas and polluted the air more while you were partying? And the costs involved for those you troubled is tremendous. Gas, man hours, lost trips... Is this how you envisioned your ROAD REVOLUTION CEBU?!!

Lobby first and have the laws passed if that's what you want! Like I said earlier, your cause is laudable, but your ways downright inconsiderate and irresponsible!

Last Saturday’s Road Revolution seem to have generated a lot of interest. Unfortunately for the organizers, it is interest not favoring what they were doing, but on where they failed.

Sharing the road may be good, but sharing it is different from closing several roads causing traffic congestion due to the lack of proper information dissemination.

Maybe we can’t blame the organizers alone as the city officials, who approved the road closure, also had a responsibility to let the people know of what was going to happen.

We also love to bike with other members of our family, but we don’t insist to do it on the busy roads, because many other people also have the right to go about their lives.

Okay, using bikes and walking on the streets may reduce the pollution and fuel consumption in the area that was closed, but what about the area surrounding it where there was a traffic jam?

The organizers of Road Revolution and the city officials must rethink their strategies.
