So many of us Pinoys live under this condition with cars speeding outside our homes. Do we ask for barriers to be put outside our gates or do we simply not allow our children to go out? You don't know anything about this American for you to conclude that he's the arrogant one in this equation. You know Byron based on all the news about him, he has a history of abusive behavior. Remember the bus conductor?

So many of us are afraid of politicians and bow down to them like they are gods, that's the reason why our country is the way it is, you can't blame the foreigner for not wanting to follow us in that kind of mentality. The attitude that needs to be changed is crab mentality. And speak for yourself, if I had children and the subdivision didn't put humps on the road near my house, I'd put up barricades too. See it seems to me you only get pissed off when we Pinoys are treated like doormats by foreigners but you don't mind if we are treated like doormats by our own countrymen, in fact the latter is far worse than the former and much more common.

He didn't stand up for his rights, he was terrorizing another resident in their village. He acted like he could get away with it because he comes from a prominent family.

Katawanan kayo ni si Byron... If you read today's SunStar Byron is claiming that he was fighting for our sovereignty that's why he acted that way and the foreigner needs to be deported.

Fighting for our sovereignty or his ego?

His ego. You need 5 bodyguards and an AK-47 to talk to an unarmed person??
The police should cancel all his gun licenses since he doesn't appear to be mentally fit to own firearms.
