Turn your kitchen or bathroom into an at-home spa. Try this do-it-yourself facial in eight oh-so-easy steps.
1. Boil a large pot of water. Remove from heat and drop a bag of flavored tea. Let the teabag steep for 10 minutes. Keep the pot covered.
2. While waiting, remove surface dirt and oil with a gentle cleanser. Rinse skin with warm water.
3. Exfoliate skin by using a scrub or an at-home peel (note: St. Ives has these products). Avoid sensitive areas around the eyes.
4. Remove the lid of the pot and wait for a few seconds. Position yourself about 12 inches from the pot and with a towel over your head, hold your face over the pot for about 5 minutes or as tolerated. The steam should loosen the oil and dirt that block the pores.
