Actually, the Leonids has already been appearing last few days, it just that the peak of its activity
(when Earth crosses a dense part of the comet trail ) will happen at 4:45GMT 19th of November.
It's day time here. But it's not that we can't see some it, just go out tonight (actually at pre-dawn)
and cross your fingers to actually see few of them.
I saw 2 ganinang kadlawon ( a fireball and a faint meteor ) just within constellation Leo. I forgot to
say my wishes though hehehe... atay man gud tong mga iro sa dalan cgeg pamaghot! I bet they too
have their wishes.
In 2001, we went to Moutain View Resort just to observe the Leonids not knowing that we were actually
1 day ahead.
But on the following day it was literally raining meteors!!!! From that day onwards I'm
hooked with doorstep astronomy, or simply, stargazing.
Clear skies, folks!
