this is what i basically did on the first weekend of september (but i'm super familiar with manila coz i'm originally from there)

morning arrival at airport. get the yellow airport taxi--less chances of kalokohan.

i stayed at park, bed & breakfast which is on EDSA near pasay rotonda. (fare to there from airport is around 200 or 300, sorry can't remember exact amount) it is on the same side as the Victory Liner Pasay station. they let me check in early at no extra cost. standard check in time is 2pm kasi. next day check out is 12noon, if mu-extend mo, you'll be charged a half day rate. the other option is to check out but leave your things with them for a baggage deposit fee of 150. if you don't want the hassle, just pack your stuff well and use a bag with wheels so you don't have to carry it around. their rates for 2 is mga 1500 inclusive of buffet filipino breakfast.

your other option is to check in at any of the places on Arnaiz Avenue (pasay road) which is right next to greenbelt na. i've not heard of the lucid tower place you mentioned, but i'm willing to bet that the money you intend to save by staying there will be equivalent to the traffic you might encounter plus the cab fares, so if i were you, i'd stay at park bed & breakfast (coz its near MOA and roxas boulevard na for the next day) or on Arnaiz Avenue (pasay road) so you're literally in greenbelt na.

if coming from park bed & breakfast, take a pasay rotonda jeep to the MRT station (its the only MRT station you will see coz its the end of the line). get on the mrt and ride it to ayala station. when you get down, then starts your mall walk (SM, glorietta, greenbelt)

head for makati and spend the day and evening there. glorietta and greenbelt will eat up your day, depends on how fast or how slow you wanna go. don't forget to visit the Ayala Musuem next to Greenbelt 5 and Filipinas Heritage Library across the underpass, on the corner of Makati & Ayala ave across the Peninsula Manila.

don't know what your trip is for food and music.

if staying in makati, for the next morning, since you are there on a sunday, hit the Legazpi Sunday Market. for food and culture trip.

arrange for a manila walking tour with carlos celdran (surf him up. he is everywhere online). hopefully his schedule fits yours. if not do it yourself. check online for schedules etc.

head for the roxas boulevard area.

personally, i recommend going to the CCP just to have a look around. i don't know what current exhibits are there. across the street, there is the Metropolitan Museum, where the exhibit on philippine gold from the Butuan dig is (hopefully still) on display. please do your research on exhibit times etc. i will not be made responsible if you head there and it is closed or what.

ocean park is just behind the grandstand sa Luneta. if you are going to ocean park, please please go to Luneta as well.

maybe you'll even have time for a sunset cruise (check schedules!!!), or if not, just sit on roxas boulevard and enjoy the sunset (hopefully it is not raining!) or just head to MOA for early dinner. if your flight is 10pm, leave MOA at 7 or 8 because even if its a sunday, you don't know what the traffic is doing. i hear there is construction on one of the routes to the airport so check check check.

    hope this helps.
