o Movie MPEG 1, 2, 4 (MPG, MPEG, AVI, M2V, DAT, VOB, etc) DivX 3.11 higher, XviD (Except GMC, Qpel option applied)
o Music MP3, OGG Vorbis, WMA
o Photo JPG

If one copies the entire contents onto the device's HDD, it will play since DVD-Videos are composed of VOB files...
