CPU won't turn on

Good day,

Guys i have a delima facing right now,
this is a cpu which has been stagnant or have not been use for 1month,
last time i use everything was ok, i installed a windows 7 ultimate 32bit and its drivers,
o yeah this was my father pc intel atom the one that has d410 motherboard from intel,
512ram ddr2 667, 80gb sata hd, with 500wats psu generic kuyog sa casing

right now ako gihatag ako dual core na pc which mao na gi use sa ako father,
but now when i tried to turn on the intel atom pc, dili na siya mo turn on,
mo siga ra iya led sa motherboard mao ra, ako na try reset ang bios, dissassemble and assemble,
at first abi nako ang psu basin lowvoltage na siya, but ako gi test sa dual core ni run man, den sunod ako
gi test ang board sa atom sa psu sa dual core, dili gihapon siya mo on.

so what can you guys advice?na guba mb ani?

obviously its the motherboard
you did the necessary troubleshooting steps

tested power supply on a known good system. WORKING
tried known good power supply. NO GO

the last resort that you can do is to strip the system to motherboard and psu only, place it on a flat wooden table and try to turn it on without any connections to devices (hard drive, dvd, front panel usb, card reader.. etc)

if same issue then motherboard.



maybe you can sprinkle some salt and holy water sa motherboard bacin ma revive pa... hehehe

if under warranty pa ang mobo then better have it replace.

already done that sir siopao1984, motherboard and psu, but the same...hehehe...

brato ra man ang mga atom board+cpu bundle. mga 2.6 - 3.5k. im not sure though if naa pay karaan na mobo with ddr2 support na gibaligya ky older model naman na ang mobo mo.

open the cpu and make sure that the add-on cards inside including the ram sits firmly in their slots then boot up the PC. if still not powering up, try replacing the power supply...

I also experienced this...I did all possible solutions but nothing happens... So, I bought a new motherboard. and it's working now..
