    Default Dog in heat issue...

    JUSTIFIED PLS CLOSE
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST... Thanks Sir Paul!!!
Hello Istoryans... I would like to inform you that I'm a Newbie in the breeding world. Just minutes ago, I was having this conversation together w/my fiance and we noticed and realized that our 1 yr & 3months old female minipin is now probably in heat. 1st heat is already done between the month of june & july.

Here's my observation in the past days...
    1.) Her nipples are erected.
2.) Noticeable elevated temperature as I carried her now, since she is more warmer now compared to her usual days.
3.) I saw her scratching our wall also. ( Is this the behavioral issue?)
    4.) Licks her vaginal oftentimes.
5.)Last, a dried small reddish in color, but not sure if it is a dirt only and no obvious swelling occured.

Regarding her attitude since this lil fella is so intimate all the time and I did not noticed any signs of mood swings.

Note: Last Sept 02, 2011 we visited her vet clinic and the vet told us that "Inyo na ni gipabreed?". I answered the vet without giving any interest. And as of this moment I remember & realized the Vet question regarding this matter now. I'm also aware the best time to breed is in the 2nd week of heat the 9th, 11th & 13th day. If we based her 1st day of mens to Sept 02, we can say that we're now behind the schedule.

Now, our concern is that we really planned to breed her when she reaches her 2nd heat, but we're in doubt now that we are a bit late or totally miss the chance to breed her, and that we can't locate her 1st menstruation period. Do we still have chance to breed her?

Please help us in this matter mentors...

get a male minipin, he will know if she is on heta now.
and if she still is, she'll give in to the male's advances.

murag ga heat gyud na imong minpin sir.
are you sure she has her first heat last june or july? i think her previous heat could be much earlier. usually a dog goes back in heat at 5 to 6 months time.

when you try to scratch at the base of the tail does she stand still and her vajj slightly arched? it's hard to tell if there tails are docked kay minpin man. if she's flagging most probably she's still receptive and allows other dogs to mount her.

as for chance. mejo slim na. as what your vet says. but some dogs are stil fertile even at the 18th day.

you can always try to breed her now and hope it will be successful. kung dili you can try 6 months from now.

    Good Luck!
