Base on my own experience, lisud ang biyaan. ;-(
Why? especially if the person will go somewhere or move to a different place...
Meaning, you'll be left with all the freakin' good and bad memories.
Everywhere you go or turn there's always this memories between the two of you that will remind you of all the things you used to share or have or do together.
Places like restaurants you used to go or even the people around you will surely remind you of almost everything you've shared together.

While on the other hand, if you left someone and you moved to another place, it's painful too but not that much i guess.
Why? because you'll be exposed to a different environment which will help you in the long run move on and forget about your past or that person you used to hold dear in your heart.
