Actually, there's the religious part of the Sinulog which is the procession. Foreign and local pilgrims with promises to fulfill come to Cebu to join the procession and attend mass novenas which are totally free.

Then there's the commercial part which the so-called Sinulog council exploits for the merry-makers aka tourists to generate wealth. This is more of a pagan rite and yet they use the image of the Sto, Niño in whimsical floats with writhing and swaying festival queens cradling the image. No wonder it always rains during the parade. Next it will be fire and brimstone.

Ni Tunga unta mo sa gipatawag nga meeting para ma voice out ninyo sa city council kani nga concern sa sinulog, all photography club and photographers para maka share mo sa inyo thoughts for this ..... the photography club member who attend the meeting agree for Creating a Cebu Federation of Photographers para maka voice out sa Cebu Council sa atong concern ...... the Next Meeting will be on Oct. 7, 2011 @ 7:30pm at Off-Road Kartzone Panagdait.....
