mga sir....naa ko ipangutana...naa ko simple set-up na kicker comp10 kato single coil lng and plan unta ko buy ug another one para mduha...and kung duha na unsa nga amp nga mkahatag nya ug nndot ug bunal..ky ang ako karn amp 3600 watts na 4 channel,ang iya gi drive ky 2mid range alpine ug kato isa ka sub nga kicker..unya after mga 3omins mapawng na xa..mag protect mode daun ang amp..pwerteng pagka init..murag dli cguro nya mkaya or unsa bah..unya ask sd unta ko kung asa inyo ika recommend nga mo set-up nga maau..salamat daan..

For a subwoofer, there are space requirements (volume needed) for the enclosure.

Minimal requirement - ang pinaka gamay nga box volume nga pwede nimo buhaton nga effecient pa gihapon ang performance sa sub.

Maximum requirement - ang pinaka dako nga box volume pwede nimo buhaton.. wherein the sub will still have an effecient performance.

Notice that there are space requirements for the following enclosures below.
1 is for sealed enclosures, and 1 is for vented/ ported enclosure.

example below is for a Kicker comp 12

example:

on a general note,

if you want to have accurate sounding bass, go for a sealed enclosure.

if you want accuracy and a punchier sounding bass go for a sealed enclosure nga minimal ang requirements.

if you want to have a loud sounding bass, nga mukamang
go for a ported/ vented box design

--- just my 2 cents, on your first go in designing your box / enclosure, try to visualize on what you want to achieve first, whether you want accurate bass, or loud sounding bass, or a little in between the two. once you've made a decision try to consult peeps from this board, or go to installers. They'd help you out.

as for the board here try to pm x_tian, he's a seasoned car audio enthusiast, who has been in the scene for quite some time now. he has an indelible experience in making / producing subwoofer enclosures.

try to pm kaloyski as well, he has also been in the car audio scene for quite some time, and has an ample experience in building subwoofer enclosures as well.


Lastly, if ever naa tay EB, hope that you can join us, so you can audition some of the system from the group of peeps.... basin naa kay maganahan nya ipangutana, ibungat lang sir.

Mga expert maayong adlaw,, bag-ohay pa tawon ko diri... Naa lang unta ko pangutana. Ganahan unta ko e enhance ang ako sound system sa ako Celerio. Simply lang nga Sound system pero quality pod og tingog. Kay ang stock sounds system kay mura ta naminaw og radyo hehehe...

Ako plano mao ni:

1. ilisan og DVD player ang Headunit
2. subwoofeer - maybe 12" 400watts Rockford Punch (existing - nakatambay lang sa storage) - or any suggestions
3. 4 speakers with midbass - or any suggestions
4. 2 tweeters - or any suggestions

Basin naa mo ika suggest diha mangayo unta ko sa inyong mga expertong panahum.

Pila pod kaha ako magasto ani? ga e lang ko bisan rough figures lang..

boss, if pang boom boom / tambay sounds imong gi apas,
pwede ra 1 set of separates imong i taod sa front doors nimo.
1 set of separates speakers consists of 2 tweeters and 2 midbass speakers.

for the separates
try to get audio system MX series - 5 to 6K



if you want better sounding separates
go for the DLS RM6.2 - 12 to 13K (great sounding separates!)

stock karon and it is under a "Promotional discount"... its around
23 to 24,000.00

what's good about this head unit is that you can integrate your ipod into this unit, 2nd if you want to have a movie theater on wheels, this head unit can help you out since it has a 5.1 dolby surround system.

built in blue tooth connectivity, where in you can connect your phone sa headunit, and answer your incoming calls while driving.


if you want to basically want to have an entry level DVD player,
naa may AVT (just not sure on the cost though, you can visit either CFG, roadstar or autofocus perhaps to ask about AVT)




2. subwoofeer - maybe 12" 400watts Rockford Punch (existing - nakatambay lang sa storage) - or any suggestions

payts nang sub nimo boss, just hook it up into an amp, and a well designed enclosure.

just get 1set of separates above if you want tambay sounds.

if you want a movie theater on wheels, invest in 2 sets... 1 set will be installed sa front, and one set sa rear. plus mag additional pa kag 1 amp.
some wirings too..




labor and materials, probably around 5 to 10k, or even higher... depends on how bulletproof you want your system to be..
