I'm confused mn gud which of these lens are good for my dslr... I'm planning to buy when my salary comes... Please advice which is the best of the two..

go for the 18-200 nlang bro, it's wider and has a longer focal length

It's dependot. I suggest you try both lens if naa kay mauslan.

Get the 18-200mm if ganahan ka dili na mag-ilis2x ug lens.
Get the 28-135mm if ganahan ka ug medyo arang2x ug IQ and USM.

but i suggest utonga ug tigom ang 24-105... hehehe

I experienced both lenses. 28-135mm have the edge when it comes to color,contrast, and just a mild sharpness or no difference at all 135mm on the longest focal length is a little bit short for me for a telephoto. 18-200 Is much more versatile, this is even recommended by the DPP magazine for wedding photography.
Both Lenses deserve the value for their prices, but in the long run mag upgrade gihapon ka kay you will crave for a faster glass, I suggest you buy the most expensive lens that you can afford e.g 24-70mm 2.8L . Just my 2 cents.

murag i think 18-200mm nalang oi... coz of the focal length.... but does it matter which is better kung IS pa plus USM pa jud.. coz ang 18-200 IS lang.. but the 28-135 is IS USM.... does this matter during capturing unexpected moments..

USM helps for faster focusing especially on those fast paced events/subjects.... and IS helps kung kurog kag kamot and for low light scenes...

so mass maayo jd to have both IS and USM...

ang ako lang sa 28-135 basin maglisod ka sa group shots kay narrow ra ang 28mm...

if walk around imo gipangita... 18-200 will best fit you...

Yup, in the end, it depends on you and your shooting style.
Pwede ra pud na himuon stepping stone ang 18-200 para
mahibal-an nimo unsa gyud imong genre ug unsa
imong most used focal length.

On a side note, para sa akoa, the USM feature is a plus.

If nag-release pa to ang Canon ug 18-200mm nga USM,
mao gyud guro akong gipalit. hehe

Nindot pud tong suggestion nga 24-105mm... as expected from an L lens
Mahal lang gyud xa pero you get what you pay for.

Although naa pud uban lens nga bang for the buck, lahi napud na nga topic :P
