Adamson pulled it off, they beat Ateneo and along the way FINALLY snapped the Blue Eagles' mastery over them while also preventing the season sweep. And more importantly, they locked up the #2 seed, meaning FEU and UST are now only left to battle for the 3rd spot. Drama kaayo ang scene sa Araneta, mga player ug mga studyante nga nanan-aw nag-hilak!

last time AdU won over Ateneo i remember was when i was student there back then (30+ na ako edad).. hehehe... i really can't blame them (students, fans, and players alike) to be so emotional over this win, imagine, a 29 game losing streak... i'm just really glad AdU won.. hats off to the players and the coaching staff... hilak gyud maayo si alex nuyles... must have really felt nice to finally beat his tormentors and beat them so convincingly... go AdU!!! UNAWAKANAHIMO!!!

Yup! Pildi gyud ang Ateneo. The last team Adamson won, I was still a senior at UP rooting for the Maroons. hehehe

Yup, Gherome Ejercito, Eddie Laure, and Dennis Madrid... all were my former classmates as well... nope, ngano man muhilak man ko? it's only basketball... i can live without it... hehehehe.... and 'bout the cheer, "UNAWAKANAHIMO" is Adamson' s battle cry but i dunno where it originated... I Have to agree nga "pang grade school" paminawon ang kana nga cheer na imo gi-mention but that's exactly what AdU did during their game against Ateneo... The Falcon went and won the fight... ... hahahaha... peace pud...

UST (minus their import Abdul) lost to NU earlier while FEU beat the under-achieving La Salle team. With that, the Final Four cast is set.

#1 AdMU vs #4 UST
#2 AdU vs #3 FEU

Ateneo and Adamson will each have a twice-to-beat advantage. Games will be on Thursday. If either FEU or UST forge a rubbermatch, I think the deciding games will be played on the following Sunday, because Saturday is slated for the Cheerdance Competition.
