Choosing a phone: Iphone 4 or Samsung Galaxy S2?

I choose Samsung Galaxy S 2 over iPhone 4, despite their price differences.

Ang naka nindot lang jud sa iPhone 4 kay ang mga Apps nila, and/or maybe the design/build lang jud niya.

android phones are always better than iPhone. i'll go with galaxy s2 it has better specs and its more affordable than iPhone 4.

For me lang cguro, depende ra jud tingali sa nag gamit or ang user.

Most users (including me) just like to have a phone that works, less tinkering on the apps, usability, marketabilty and of course ang pinaka importante.. hehehe the show-off bility.. hehehe

anyway, no doubt both the galaxy s2 and the iphone 4 has their pros and cons, and I would agree that when you take it out in public, both phones would get catch some eyes dayon (well, I think more sa iphone4 kay no doubt kitang mga pinoys are generally pala Apple kay stateside daw)

sa ako lang. I have some doubts and perks when I tried to read some forums on the galaxy s2. Flashing roms, cooked roms, tinkering , underclock and overclocking...

In layman's terms and for those people who wants to skip and doesn't like to go to the hassles of these. Paminaw nako, mas advantageous siguro ang IOS over the lastest android firmware sa? I heard naa na gani ice cream napud nga firmware sa android, whereas IOS's 4.3.5, though it's already release, it too has some issues sad.

Going back on comparing the 2 phones again.. Perenial problems with the galaxy S2 is the intensive heat on the phone when you use it (most samsung galaxy s2 forums mentioned this issue) and of course the early release issue before on the yellow tinting on th S-Amoled of the phone.

On the hands of a common person (doesnt know anything about modding and stuffs, like my aunty) I guess murag Iphone 4 would win by a mile siguro.

Hmm.. that goes me into thinking also.. How may girls here are actually using the galaxy S2 over the iphone 4..

Kbaw na baya ta aning mga babaye, when they're with their circle of friends.. pang show-off dayon ang phone..

So to anyone here nga girl nga naay galaxy S2.. Do you also do modding on your phone ? I know for the fact man gud that most and generally girls are just bringing their phones for Show-off bility..

I do stand corrected though on all of this..

If for show-offs and games, go for iphone. If not, go for sgs2.
I bought my gf ip4 but she kept on borrowing my sgsL. I bought sgs2, now she's thinking of selling her ip4.
Cos when the hype dies down, one would realize how boring ip4 is. Especially if not jailbreaked...

As for me, performance and feature wise, ip4 cant beat even my sgsL. But on gaming, ip4 is the best.

i still have a year to save for another iphone to come, not like any other phone brands that launch almost every month, whats hot now might not be hot in 3 months time

What is the "BEST" is subjective!

I wish people and fanboys stop enforcing their ideas and mindset unto others.

All phones have pro and cons and some prefer one over the other.

And now to the thread starter. If the person going to use the phone is a tinkerer or gadget head, get him an Android phone keeps that person occupied for a long while. If that person does not want to concern himself of such things, get him an iPhone. He can use it immediately without much need to look at the manual.
