Sa ako nakit an lately sa news, ge discourage sa Philippine Government ang pagpa enroll in these courses, Nursing, BSBA, BSHRM, kay daghan na kuno kaayo ug graduates & mga unemployed.

Ge encourage sa DOLE and TESDA nga instead, take up Engineering and Technical courses kay demand abroad, then naa pod daghan trabaho here locally.

^^ the wonder of taking up engineering is that, if you have enough funds and good initiatives/skills, you can be self employed as well.

Heck! Sometimes I think I should quit my job and be self employed. But currently I don't have the money and the gamble and risks are too high.

Anyways, up for this!

Daghan man kaayu qualified, but I guess job security after graduation is not on the mindset of some few intellectuals, they just want to do what they really want. And if ever sad they force themselves in engineering and they are roughly poor in logic and even basic arithmetic (lets admit there are people who are really bad at doing these stuffs no matter how hard they study) that would be suicide.
You can do both at the same time.. Before I went full time in managing my own business I work as an architect pero akong extra nga money akong e puhunan sa among negosyo sa among brother. It took a lot of sacrifices then (like late marriage, not buying gadgets, cars, etc) but now its paying triple.
Today I made my former job as a hobby nalang... and expensive hobby.

Engineering ko and natiwas na nako. Ga masterals lang pud ko karon.

Civil Engineering ---> Dili jud ni mawala
BS in Electrical Engineering ---> Dili jud ni mawala
Electronics and Communications Engineering ---> ga hinay na ang trend ani pero dako ra gihapon possibility ma hire ka compared sa BSBA, BSHRM, BSN
Electronics Engineering ---> Same as above
Geodetic Engineering ---> Wala pakoy kaila gatake ani, cant answer
Mechanical Engineering ---> Dili jud ni mawala
Industrial Engineering ---> New engineering course same as Computer Engineering. Bag.o ra ga pickup ni, payter pa

2k... what we see all around is a product of engineering. I can't say so much kay ma bias man gud ko...

But as an overall aspect, anything that involves Manufacturing, Production, and Equipment/Facilities Engineering, dili jud mahutdan ug trabaho, if you want to be employed.

Siguro, one of the reasons why demand and needed jud ang engineering kay lisod man gud. So not so many people undergo in this profession.
