On topic:

Difficult as it may seem, but accepting the fact that seafarers are always exposed to 'chance encounters' will make it a bit easier for you to talk seriously about this with your hubby and not be confrontational which could complicate things. It will be more appropriate for you hubby to admit committing the mistake and saying sorry (and meaning it) and then for you to forgive. But not for both of you to forget as the if it does happen again, it could be more serious than just warts.
