Alcano wins as the new World Pool Champion in the recently concluded 2006 World Pool Cup held here in Manila.

This is another triumph for the Filipinos. Another athlete emerged as the winner of one of the most sought sports in the country, billiards.
Also, we cannot deny that our support gave this Filipino more perseverance to win in this tournament.

Congratulations to this new guy who bagged P5M for winning this game. I am sure the Filipino people are also waiting for the upcoming game of another people's champ, Manny Pacquiao. The support of the Filipino people will surely give this man another reason to pursue winning his bout.

This guy rose from nowhere... some of the pool players from our country were expected to win this one but i think few or ma-ihap ra ang nagtuo nga si ALcano ang makadaug.
