Choosing a phone: Iphone 4 or Samsung Galaxy S2?

For me.. I would rather believe on someone who owns the actual units itself and can do the actual comparison in his day to day activity...

Reviews can be subjective man gud...

Para nako.. mas maau pa mutoo sa tao nga nakagamit jud sa duha ka units and iyang na compare ang actual units to give the objective review jud..

anybody can give an indept reviews base sa gamit ninyo sa duha ka phones (iphone 4 and s2)?

sa akong nabasa sa net mga reviews mas kusgan batt life sa iphone 4 compare sa s2.

pero there's this firmware sa s2 para mo kusog2x daw iya batt life. not really techie though coz never pa ko naka use ug android phone.

OT :

as ive tried using the iphone 4 (jailbroken) and SGS 1 ( not the s2) ... dko ka compare sa s2 since ive not used it ... On ip4 , with some modifications like disabling certain features , i can achieve almost 2 days of batt life, with heavy texting and few calls, and games.. while on galaxy s , with modded rom , almost last a day, around 22hrs .. playing 3d games and texting only....

iphone boring mao ra gyud tanan ipad itouch iphone ... same look same buttons same tanan i dunno sa iphone4 pero i have an iphone 3gs and wen i got the ipad2 mura ra gyud gyapon tanan so mao i sold my 3gs nalang...

the sg2 however runs android na pwede nmo ma customize maayo sa imo gusto ... widgets ... different home screens ug uban pa... plus the apps on the market are growing soon to match the apps with the appstore...

samsung na ko.. though una pirmi ang apple magpauso ung new tech sa mga gadgets but then inig sunod pud sa samsung mas enhanced man sad. mas daghan nag features and functionality. Mas barato pajud.. hehehe

so in your opinion, you dont go with s2? because the phone would somehow depreciate more than the ip4?

i have sgs2 mahal lang ang reselling value sa iphone.

in terms of everyday use, mas ok ang sgs2 kay ma-customize nimo ang speed sa cpu/ maka-delete/uninstall ug mga unnecessary services. unlike sa iphone dli. viewing wise, SGS2! hehehe... mas nindut e-navigate ug website.

kini ra ako masulti sa duha.
Iphone4 ~ hype/kwartahan and durable.
sgs2 ~ advanced user/ hmmm... over the time, musamot kabarato unlike sa iphone.

**kadaghan natagak ako iphone 4, so far, wala man mabuak or ni-crack ang housing. akong sgs2, 1st month palang nako sa una, kada semana, matagak kay nipis kaau. lol.

OT :kung nindut ug specs ang dell streak, mag-dell streak ko.. widescreen tanawon kaysa sg tab.. lol..

I have both and mas mu dugay jud ang bat life sa akong iphone kesa s2. Akong usual nga gamit kay text and calls ra man then lots of movies hehe. Although if maka kita ka ug nice nga rom para sa s2 kay basig mas mu better pa iya bat life sa iphone 4

OMG! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? iphone4 is nothing compared to galaxy s2. I've been drooling over s2 for months! If only i have the kaching then I prolly would have bought it the moment it was released here in the Philippines. s2 is to die for! S2 is a dual core, better camera and the software is much nicer to work with on a tech level..I just dont like apple actually, it is very stylish and everything but when it comes to performance, the s2 really stands out. Let's face it android phones are dominating the market nowadays. If you are planning to buy iphone4 then might as well wait for iphone5.
