Hi fellow istoryans,
I'm planning to build a new rig intended mainly for some graphic works specifically for video graphics and editing. Softwares to be used are Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Cinema 4D. I will also do matchmoving, so add Mocha and Syntheyes to the list.
Please help me choose the best PC components that could give me more processing power and save me from very long rendering time and crashes too. My main concern is the motherboard. I want it to leave me more room for future upgrades as I am on a tight initial budget. What I meant is it should at least have enough SATA slots, maybe a HDMI, eSATA and USB 3.0 ports.
The above-mentioned softwares are memory hogs, what memory brand and modules do you recommend? I've heard about dual and triple channel memory but I'm not that knowledgeable on this. I plan of having 4 or 8GB.
The budget is around
25-30K and this will cover the
Mobo, Processor, RAM and
Casing. The HDD, VC and PSU aren't in the list because I already have them.
What I have in mind are these:
Proc: Intel i7-2600k (3.4Ghz up to 3.8Ghz) - P 14,037.375 (GI)
Mobo: Asrock Fatal1ty P67 Performance - P P 6,950 (Cool Rigs)
RAM: _______ 4 or 8GB
Casing: _________ P5-6K max.
What do you recommend?
Thanks in advance, Istoryans.
