WRT54G2 Router - flashed to DD-WRT

good noon fellow istoryans, i was planning to flash my Linksys WRT54G router to a DD-WRT, pero naglibog ko sa instructions and im afraid basin masayup then maguba ako router. guys do you have experience on this? can i ask help on the steps and which firmware is best working, ive read the DD-WRT forums pero medyo confused ko and my router is supported. thanks for all your info. (mods if dili pde dri nga section pls transfer, if dili ni pde nga topic pls delete and sorry for posting) just need it to flash the router badly needed at work and at home.

Read again and understand what you're trying to do.. your router will be useless if ma brick nimo.. I tried and ended up bricking my router. If nglisud pa ka karon, ayaw ug padayon unless Ok ra nimo mgpalit ug bag.o na pd nga router if you fail.

Search, read and understand.

Yup.. pero wala pa ko DD-WRT nga firmware.. Gi flash nako ang sa PLDT ug Buffalo nako nga router with their respective firmware release.. Try lng ug search step-by-step nga instruction sa uban forum.. naa man cguro other than dd-wrt forum..

It'll work with the defaults boss.. Others flashed their routers boss using DDWRT firmware to squeeze more sa iyang features (e.g signal strength).. With the default firmwares on your devices, I'm sure you will be able to achieve that setup.. It is a common household setup and considered to be plug n play.

thanks sa suggestions ug info mga masters pero ang gusto nako ma achieve is to get internet connection from wifi, meaning wifi router > wifi router without using cable, wala man dri sa feature sa linksys router nako thats why na prompted ko ug flash sa iyang bios to ddwrt, naay baligya sa cdrking pero mahadlok pod ko mo palit knowing sa ilang items ug sa style sa waranty nila.
