I feel like hidding in a dark corner by looking at it.

yes, 512 mb, pero i think that is just for the vista basic. if u wanna use the full features and get the most out of vista then you might really need 2gig. at our office they have upgraded to 8 gig of ram for computers using vista.

I've been using windows vista ultimate beta versions since last July (Job related), still experiencing lots of bugs... but they have a very good security but doesnt have enough drivers for hardware. Ive used vista 32 and 64 bit OS'es using DELL Optiplex GX620, cant detect Sound Device but works fine when used on DELL Precision 380. I've also used Vista on DELL Inspiron 9400 and IBM t90p notebooks, lots of unknown drivers detected. Vista version im currently using is 5477, windows is still working on those bugs. FYI, minimum requirement is 512MB RAM and 15Gigs HDD space on drive C. There lots of changes in Vista, taskbar and start menu has turned to black security has become more strict, accessibility in drive C is limited, and lots more. I am using some latest products since our company is a partner of DELL, and our CEO is an ex-employee of IBM... tigas noh... hehehe

To use Ultimate you need a TV tuner card. Will still work without it, though, but your media center will be pretty useless. My recommendation is to wait about a year. Still can't find drivers for my D915 and D945 boards and my Epsons.
