If you have attended Rootcon 5 at the Parklane Hotel on September 9-10, 2011, you would have seen lock-picking demonstrations by "Whiskah" and you could try it yourself during a hands-on after-session.

tried watching videos sa youtube then apply sa door knob sa akong room... lisod man sad diay ni specially walay sakto nga tension wrench... asa man mapalit ang tension wrench or unsay kasagaran material day to day common material nga pwed magamit as tension wrench? tried using a small screwdriver, lisod man
yes sir. it looks easy on youtube and people often mistakenly believe that it is easy..
i will not advise using a small screwdriver as a tension wrench. it is way too big for that.
some use an old used hacksaw blade, but i find it just lacking in proper thickness. i find discarded stainless kitchen knives somewhat better. i cut it with a grinder though to the proper shape.
but in emergency, anything will do. trust me.. anything...hehe
