Need Help With My Olympus FE 4040

hi guys! i have an Olympus FE 4040 digital cam that has a problem with the SD card. currently, im using it's stock SD (olympus SD-picture) and it was working quite well to its par until my niece played with my cam and altered some settings. the result, whenever i put in my SD card it would say Write Protect. thinking the SD was locked i tried putting it in my laptop but i can save from my laptop to my sd with no problem at all. i also tried different memory cards but still with the same problem.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
your suggestions would be highly appreciated.
