NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg just released a statement that the storm is finally hitting the city . He ordered all NYC residents (mainly in downtown) to evacuate but not forcing anyone who refused . The bridge , even tolls will be closed if the storm is above 60 mph .

Meanwhile in Long Island , my friend who lives there BBMed me today that all residents in Northshore and Southshore who refused to evacuate are required to write their names and Social Security number on their forearm . All trains and ferries are out since 5 pm .

Any iStoryans here who lives in NY , NJ , Mass., or CT ? Please share any updates here if you can . Stay safe .
