all, a known fact that no one knows who this kid is.... our fellow bisdak needs your support... a true underdog.... a cinderalla story perhaps?

this blogger wrote this about the entire draft roster:
Sydrified Sports and Entertainment: 2011 PBA Draft: BEAT THE DEADLINE!

after a little research, his final mock draft says this:
Sydrified Sports and Entertainment: 2011 PBA Draft: THE MOCK PBA DRAFT as of August 22, 2011

come Aug. 28th draft or no draft he will keep pushing to reach his goals- he deserves a shot.

It's very unlikely he got offered an athletic scholarship in the NCAA but chose community college instead cuz it's close to home . Also , he proudly include a clip insinuating he "pwned" Tony Bennet (the scrub baller , not the crooner) , and that Collins-scrub who played for the Bobcats ... Well , where are those players now ? Hmmm...

The problem here is you guys are jumping to the conclusion that this guy is a good player based from the mixtape made by Pasculado himself .

Julius Pasculado is nowhere to be found on DraftExpress or NBADraftNet . This should be enough to prove my point here .

Congratulations, you just managed to convince me to sign up for this message board because of your douchebaggery. *slow clap*

The Art of War has taught me to scope out my target before I strike and scope out I did. Don’t worry I am not going to hide from you. I am Julius’ soon to be sister-in-law, Jade. I am Cebuana. Ok now let’s begin. Julius lived with us until recently, when his agent flew him to Manila for the draft. Oh yeah, and remember his little highlight video that you maligned? It had enough bite to it to catch the attention of one of the, if not the best agent in PI.

Yes I am biased. Why shouldn’t I be? He is practically family and that’s what family does! I also watched how this boy struggle. He had nothing but a dream. Not a CAR (A Beemer? Hahaha wow to actually “nonchalantly” let people know about possessions in a public message board! Tacky.), not a CREDIT CARD, nothing… just a DREAM. And too proud to ask for our help too, this boy.

I see you coach basketball to young kids. (YMCA right, volunteer style, that's why all you can refer Julius' playing to is "too is YMCA style") Do their parents know that you have the tendency to QUASH YOUNG MEN’S DREAMS? I don’t know about you but I feel like a coach should have an open mind and a mentoring heart. If one of the kids you were coaching made it big and I happen to come across a post, it would make my day. Nothing better than to hear a news about a Cebuano who made it. But that’s just me.

You know what, I could have understood if your reaction stopped at “chill out people” when talks of Ju joining the NBA started. Don’t worry, we are not delusional and yes, maybe people should chill out but you should be smart enough to get that they are only half serious. This is a message board afterall, not a confession box.

But no you didn’t stop there – you made it PERSONAL. Not that good. Junior College. Blah

What did he do to you? I know he travels the country and Canada for Pinoy leagues (even earned a couple pf MVP honors for it). Did he bust out one of those killer crossovers on you and made you have to ice your ankle for days? That has happened, ya know.

He is GOOD. He is good because he worked hard for it.Day in and day out I watch him walk to or bike to the gym to work on his game for hours. And when I say hours, sometimes he does n’t get back until 2AM. Real Talk. Ask the people at XSport Logan Square. He braves negative degrees wind chill and snow just to get to the hard court. He eats and breathes basketball when there is nothing left to do but that. He has NOT had an easy life. Take my word for it. And now he has a glimmer of hope… YOU JUST HAD TO HAVE THE COMPULSION TO POST THESE NASTY POSTS. What did he do to you… I wonder.

He is GOOD. He worked hard to finally get to play in the good leagues here. As for the Pro Am league, yes you do have to pay to play. But you also have to get invited because there are only a limited amount of teams. Kobe, DRose, Durant, Bron, John Wall has spent their summers in ProAm.

He is GOOD. He earned the respect of a predominantly African American group and crowd. Predominantly as in he is the first Asian to ever play this league and there are less than 5 non-African Americans. They have accepted him as an equal. A brother. But it didn’t come easy. Nothing is ever easy for Julius. The first time he walked into that gym, they taunted him: Are you lost boy? Not easy. But he kept his head down and just played. Eventually, they accepted him, clamored for isos, cheered for him, taunted him in a friendly way. Hard work and tenacity. They even have a nickname for him; Tsunami.

And before you question how good this Westhaven Safe Summer Pro Am is, watch this video highlight of Osiris Eldridge taken at their championship game a few days ago.

Osiris Eldridge dunks bring down Chicago West Haven Summer League (Pro-Am) 8/18/11 - YouTube

And the NBA player that you called scrubs? Haha OMG it’s so easy to underestimate the nonsuperstars- UNTIL YOU HAVE PLAYED AGAINST THEM and you realize, holy crap! I am NOT Kobe! I can't kick this scrub's as* even if he only has one good arm! LOL Who’s the biggest name you played with? Tell you what – why don’t you assemble the best group you can find in your playing environment and play next summer here in Westhaven ProAm?

Oh you probably don’t know Tony Bennett. You have to be deep in these circuits to know these people. He plays for the Euroleague. Great player, good guy. And as for Ju saying he “owned” him, that is a friendly taunt. And it was actually the announcer there who said it. Ju just parroted it. You don't taunt someone on the West Side and the South Side of Chicago online or on court just for sh*ts and giggles and get away with it. Gangbangers comprise most of the audience, and they are usually these players' posse. Julius belongs to a group of guys who are man enough to taunt each other. They have respect for each other. None of the passive aggressive, cowardly LIBAK that happens almost often in some groups. Why would Ju not respect Tony Bennett? Tony is a great player and he lets the game speak for him and not waste his time running his mouth and trolling message boards and DIGITALLY ATTACKING STRANGERS. 2000+ posts since April 2010- really? I didn’t think anyone had that much time or is THAT bored.

You are the embodiment of what is bad about some Pinoys abroad. The arrogance, the sense that his opinion supersedes everyone else's. You are nothing but a CRAB. Perfecting the art of Crab Mentality with every post. Have you made an inventory of your posts? Let's play a game of what's the percentage of NEGATIVE posts you have! What a miserable pseudo-human being you are. You give Canadians a bad name.

Don’t worry I don’t expect an apology. I have you pegged. I met a few of your kind during my daily grind – I don’t expect you to change. People like you are so well marinated in their self loathing and insecurity that they hide behind a veil of arrogance. I'll just cut you your last paycheck and show you the door.

P.S. I never thought being palengkera would feel this good. My parents are probably not gonna approve but you know what – it feels good.

P.P.S. Apparently Julius already read this thread a few months ago. Did he respond? No. He just turned off hisb laptop, went to the gym and shot hoops for hours. Some people are born with a heart of a winner, I guess.
