Y R THEY MAKING AN AIRCRAFT? what for? british n US does act like INTERNATIONAL POLICE AGENCies so they do roam on international waters.... BUT FOR CHINA, WHATS D REAL PURPOSE? KULANG SA PANSIN RA JUD NI ILA SAME GOES ON THE NORTH KOREANS WHERE THEY RATHER SHOW TO THE WORLD THEIR WEAPONS RATHER THAN FOODS FOR THEIR PEOPLE!!! SAME PATTERN NI ILA SO IT MAY SOMEHOW BE A THREAT TO WORLD PEACE IN THE FUTURE!!! CHINA ALWAYS HUNGERS FOR POWER N ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE MORE POWER!!!
They do it for Pride (wala ta ani, binuang ni goberno nato, hindi ako kawatan daw pero tanan personel naa sa luyo niya mao pinaka kawatan, Research and future dev, Propaganda pang moral boost. In all honesty if we were in their position mao rasad cguro buhaton nato.

As for saying China is the most power hungry is the world, basin US pasabot nimo. Read history, US na mga power hungry war freaks. China has been a defensive nation since the Han dynasty came into the picture, they only retaliate when poked first not like what the US is doing. Palag lang gyud tang mga pinoy kay butiok man gyud ang standing sa nasud nato bisan usaon nimo pag bali sa kalibutan.

I dont see any big deal if China makes its own aircraft carrier with complete naval Fleet. Considering their status, its just like a pre-requisite for being a Super power nation. And besides, there are only 2 Creators in this world.. GOD created man & woman, and the rest is made in CHINA!

I haven't read the article or the replies ... but I do notice one thing ... the fact that the deck slopes up means that it isn't long enough for a standard jet to take off regularly. It is inferior to US carriers that can dictate foreign policy wherever it is. This is what the British have to launch their planes. People also forget that a carrier's purpose is to carry planes and China doesn't have competitive modern planes. The military budget might be the doom of the US economy, but until other countries can match it, they shouldn't be included in any discussion concerning military superpowers.

Korek! bitaw ang atong defense unta ang una nato i-modernize just like what Taiwan is doing. Unya na nang pag-acquire ug mga second nga warships, unahon una ang missile defense shield nato para mag 2x2 nang ubang nasod pag bully sa Pinas!
