Note: I'm even planning on making my own 250GB HDD but the hack/flash/software available is only currently available for WD hard drives and only upto 250GB. I've been searching around local computer stores and I've only found 320GB WD Scorpio 2.5 HDDs.
i think you could use the 320gb but you can only flash it 250gb so you'll end up wasting 70gb. it also has to be in the same series (cant remember but it was something like bevxxxxx)....

it was like that before with the 160gb....you can only get 120gb because the xbox could only "read" 120gb

Makasuya kaayo. Regarding genre, ga duwa man ko FPS/TPS, fighting, sports & RPG. Basta payter lang. Besides sa wireless controller, unsa pa ba kelangan para maka duwa ug plastar?

Flashing meaning hacking the firmware of the HDD in order for the 360 unit to recognize it as an official HDD product. It is not as simple as formatting it.

So far, the one that made the flashing software/hack have no plans to make a version for other brands. Currently available to up to 250GB WD Scorpio Series 2.5 HDD.

That's nice to hear. Go Legit jud.

You don't have to buy a 250GB Slim or a 250GB HDD to play online. I recently bought a new 4GB Slim (after being a legit PS3 gamer for years and a legacy xbox 360 owner) and have been fragging online in Halo Reach and Gears of War 2 (installed the All fronts Map pack on the built in 4GB memory). However, if you want to download other add-ons/ map packs like in Halo Reach, you need to acquire a HDD.

If you're resourceful, you can find a 250 GB HDD (Official but slightly used) 360 Slim for under P2k.

To make it very simple and hassle-free, buy a computer monitor with speakers then just use HDMI (for video and audio).
