I think you have been made aware that Thyroid Ca has
four (4) classifications:

1) Papillary - 78% survival rate
2) Follicular or Hurthlecell - 17%
3) Medullary - 4%
4) Anaplastic - 1%

Item 1 is common for middle-aged people, seldom
for teenagers or children.

Thoug it is inevitable to think you have Papillary, better
think miaka that you have a high survival rate among other
sufferers under different categories.

Item 4 is very rare. The former US Supreme Court Chief
Justice William Rehnquist had succumbed to Anaplastic.

Aside from your personal Doctor's prescriptions or procedures

@balandido, hello. I'm really inspired by what you said. Yup, I'm aware of the different types of thryoid cancer and blessed even to have just the papillary type. I was diagnosed when I was 21. and all I did was research and research and of course ask my doctor. I don't know any one in the family who got cancer, that's why it was mind boggling where I got it.

Anyhow, I've had surgery and the RAI already, so right now, I'm just maintaining the hormones and constant lab tests such as TSH, FT4 and T3.

I do believe that God is always good and I know he'll never forsake me.

@zyraoeone, I'm sorry for the loss of your lola. do you know what type of thyroid cancer she had? the "radiation chuva" you meant I guess was Radioactive Iodine Therapy. I bet she was also isolated as I was before for a month.
