    having a good knife is good but
    improving your knife skills is better..
    Naa lagi ka tourne knife pero tapulan ka magpractice,
    pwede ra man paring knife, basta practice lang..

    generally yes. but there are factors that you have to consider. the amount of acidity, tartness, fruitiness? hehehe hard to explain say the scent of lemon is different to limes and oranges etc. lets say each contains all the compounds but different amounts by variety.
    kung pang marinade ra nimo by all means no problem but how much juice you need may differ from what kind of citrus you use and since you only need the acidity but not much on the flavor.
    but if you want to make key lime pie out of calamansi then the end product would be slightly different.
