For your information, Martin Luther respects the Catholic Church - He did Not question the belief of the Catholic Church, He QUESTIONS the disrespectful Acts of the Priests. Know the facts first.

its Not all about the P3nis for crying out loud. Its about respecting what people think its sacred to them.

    2. Posts should be composed in such a manner that respects persons of all RACES, RELIGIONS, CULTURES, and SEXUALITIES. No post may contain personal attacks, as they have no proper place in discussions. The purpose of this forum is to facilitate growth, not to belittle others. This also applies to Private Messages and the Shoutbox entries. Attack the Opinion not the Person.

Even here we are required to respect religion. its just common sense. If the artist placed a dick on a corrupt official or padre damaso, then few people would have been offended. I dont think theres anything Jesus has done to him to deserve such treatment

the logic you are hiding behind does not protect you. it says right their: "the purpose of this forum is to facilitate growth"

your insistence on remaining close minded and ignorant does NOT facilitate any growth at all.

also, no, respecting religion is not common sense. what did the church do against the muslims with the crusades? what did the church do with the jews? what did the church do with our very ancestors? you're misguided if you think the church is all roses and honey and love and miracles.

if you are offended about what he did to a picture of Jesus (which is of questionable validity considering Jesus' ethnicity), you should think what the church has done/is doing while hiding behind Jesus.

i'll point out a few for you:
    1. used religion to conquer people (missionaries arrived before conquestadors)
    2. used religion to hide the faults of their members (pedophile-priests are given protection by the church)
    3. used religion to instill a culture of martyrdom (see the poor father barely making enough to provide for his family for a month pay a several thousands just so the priest will give blessing to the wedding of his son)

isn't that blasphemy? isn't that sacrilege?

can you give any bible phrase that jesus said to kill other people for him or protect phedophiles followers? ARe the sins done by the priests jesus fault? the church may have crooks so as any other religion but jesus never taught them to be one. we are free to think whatever we want but we must also be sensitive enough to consider and respect what others believe. its not bad to express ourselves but cultures, religion and race should also be considered and respected. i too have aethiest friends but i never criticize them or correrct them on what they believe. its their decision and its their life

I don't know what your religions are, and if have you one, i assume it's not christian. but for one thing.

post ur religion's name, ill make a digital artwork in parallel of poleteismo

ill post it here, let's just see if you don't get offended.

and do not judge the catholic church as hooligans ( you misspelled it) , i hope you know it's meaning.

Hooligan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The origins of the English word "hooligan" are unknown, though almost certainly Irish. Many writers have speculated that it derives from Irish name Houlihan or Hooligan. Others believe that it derives the from the word "hooley," defined as a "a wild, spirited party"

the Church is not wild. some priest | cardinals | laymen are. HUMAN NATURE..nobody is exempted!

tax the church bigtime. sure. let's also include your church.or maybe you don't belong to anyone's church.

    tyler,

no1. you are basing your post on history..the Popes had asked forgiveness for it. MOVE ON.

that is not happening anymore in the modern times.

no.2 that didn't happen on Catholic church alone,

    here's some.
Jim Bakker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

YFZ Ranch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

no3. is not martyrdom, that's corruption.
and that's not happening on RC alone. and i'm not happy on that cases either..

nevertheless, no.3 are abuses on the Core Doctrines of the Church, about forgiveness..

    kay pasaylu-on man.

Even National Artist F. Sionil Jose thinks it was not art.

To quote: ""If submitted to my old gallery, I would have rejected it. It is not, I repeat, it is not art. It is an immature and juvenile attempt at caricature," he said..
