as what they said, respect is not asked, it is being earned. of course with regard to respecting you, no doubt you earn my respect.
but we are here, in this thread, obviously, a theist vs. atheist thread. if some ideas seem like offending to you that doesn't mean i am disrespecting the belief of others.i was just pointing out facts

It is a common moral axiom in our society that “the end does not justify the means.” Getting an “A” on a test does not justify cheating. Winning a race does not justify using steroids. Getting a job does not justify killing the other job applicants. In the Bible, God spends a lot of time defining what is moral and holy behavior. He makes it clear that a good end does not justify evil means (Rom. 3:.
How sad that so many Christian people also attribute to God these traumatic occurrences, as well as accidents, persecution, disease and death. One reason they do is because other sincere but misinformed Christians have failed to understand God’s wonderful Word, and have thus distorted it. These erroneous teachings have not only wounded people emotionally, but also turned them away from the only true source of comfort, strength, wisdom and supernatural deliverance, which is God, through His Son Jesus Christ. The fact is, the teaching that God causes suffering causes more suffering. As we will see, an accurate biblical understanding of the origin of evil and suffering relieves God of all responsibility for it.
i have some reasons here if why people suffer:
1.We deserve what we get.
2.People do in fact get what they deserve, but only over the course of time.
3.God has His reasons for making people suffer, reasons that they are in no position to judge.
4.Suffering is educational.
5.Suffering is just a test.
6.Suffering comes to liberate us from pain and lead us to a better place [after death].
7.An all-powerful God does not necessarily have to be fair and just, from our limited human perspective

mura rag katong story about the Communists in Russia after they took over.
The CCP Commissar asked the people in a small village to pray to God to give them bread for tomorrow and that he will come back to check on them tomorrow.
The villagers did so, they prayed all night. However, no bread arrived by morning.
The Commissar then told the villagers to ask the Central Communist Party for bread.
The villagers did so, and lo and behold, that very evening, 5 Red Army trucks arrived filled with bread.
Red Army units even distributed the bread amongst the villagers.
The Commissar then asked the villagers, "Who do you believe now, God or the CCP?"
LOL
Like all Religious discussions , it is a never ending one ...
And in regards to bread , it is the same everywhere , people naturally believe what they see , NOW, not tomorrow but now. But I feel people are different , life is different , one road leads to a better life and one does not. It's how an individual carries himself.
Going back to topic I believe people kill people , in terms of heroism , it is a person that decides if he dies to save another.
Master Yoda's Quote “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”
kuratan ko aning question sa TS da... why is Satan so good at making people question God's works or existence?peace...
anyway i do believe that death comes to us when we've achieved our purpose in life and not because God wants to kill us...
