FEU plays with no heart, their guys don't seem to want to assert themselves. And the system that worked for them in the opening game vs DLSU hasn't been been effective as of late. Outside of Garcia there is no other consistent scorer (and even he has become prone to off-games, he hasn't been last year's lights-out gunner). Add to that the fact that they have the tendency to lose their composure when calls don't go their way, giving up technicals (and consequently, freebies/FTs). If those things don't change in the 2nd round, they're looking at another fruitless campaign, and next year they won't have Ramos Cawaling Knuttel etc. anymore. As it is I think Adamson will be the other Finals team this year.

Unsa diay tungod ang conflict? Share daw? Hehe chismax. Really, the Bringas bros pick on Sentcheu? I saw Arvie Bringas play recently, he's HUGE! Buenafe would look pretty small beside him, and Buenafe is no slim Jim. Bringas doesn't like banging inside though. Way gamit ang lawas.

Not officially but there were a couple of incidents of both Bringas brothers picking on Sentchu (who by all accounts is a very nice guy). Noundo had to step in and help pacify things. But I just read that so take it for what its worth.

I will say while Arvie is not a banger for his size (could be the training of Coach Tonichi working right there ), TonTon however is a banger and brusier/bordering dirty. Every team needs that type of enforcer I guess.


Re: Conflicts. I hear the team is in turmoil, grabe daw mu-apil apil si Anton Montinola sa coaching decisions. Short of coaching the team himself. Dako ra siguro pressure sa iya para mudaug. The FEU team was favored almost all the past 4 years. Walay hinugdan. Pakialamero ug grabe daw mangasaba sa player. Like I've always said not all Ateneans can be nice guys.

yep...kalagot gyud ang tawag sa ref uy. Di ko ganahan maanad na silang Slaughter na paborable pirmi ang ref basin magdahom na siya pag-abot niya kontra sa mga Iranian na tawgan ug foul dayun iyang kontra pareho ganiha.

whew... abi nako mapildi na pud kay nag-melt down na pud ang AdU sa 4th quarter... maayo na lang they showed up during the clutch.. pero hats off to DLSU especially to Almond Vosotros...
