Week 15 (Pouring of concrete)
We started early at 730am after they had breakfast. we hired 20 additional laborers to help us with the pour. plus 6 existing workers and myself so we are 27 all in all. the weather was fine but there were rain clouds so it was expected to have rainshowers. it did rain after lunch but thank God it was not a heavy down pour. the 27 man-team worked from shine to rain to shine again. i thought i could spend 5 hours OT on the pour but we did it in less than 8 hours with the help of some energy drinks( sting & cobra, i hope ill get something by endorsing these hehe). we connected lights in case it'll get dark but wla man magamit.
the chain gang at work
2 hours after the job we are already a quarter of the total progress. it must have been the result of the energy drinks.hehehe pagmayroon ka nito wla kang talo!
During the break, we connected tarps near the mixer in case it'll rain. pero niuwan gyud.
after 7 hours the chain gang is done with job and 2 of the men does the finishing touches
Smile Tinoy smile!
Tinoy of the panday does the brooming of the slab.
Thank God it was done without any hassles.
