Ang pangutana, Mark V. (nga taga Convergys), pilipino ba si Manny, Charice ug Lea?

Kung dili, aw, dili pud angayan nga moingon ang mga pinoy nga proud sila sa ilang pagka-pinoy if Manny, Charice, Lea, etc... do something noteable.

Kun pilipino si Manny, DILI sayop ang pag-ingon nga 'I am proud to be a Filipino' kun makadaug si Manny sa boxing.

I am proud of my family's achievements' ?

P.S. Kanang imong pangutana mura man og dunay laing tuyo ana.

    @yanong_banikanhon

    ako question pud
do you also own up to them as "family" katong mga politiko nga kurakot
or katong mga taw nga unta like before we are only 2nd to Japan 40-50 years ago karon
    ambot asa natah dapit?

Why not also announce those....let's admit also our wrongdoingd
dili kay proud2x lang tah bisan obvious na kaayo tah our situation is not going anywhere but down
Or is it really we need to be assertive and to convince in an effort dapat proud gyud tah and bisan asa malang tah mangita ug source of pride kay nihit?

yanong, creamy kaayu kag face run, creamy-nal gud joke ra ha. when will you realize nga dili ako si mark?! kana si mark, hapit na mi mag-engage! so sorry ka na lang!

anyway, speaking about "I am proud of my family's achievements" is different from "I am proud being a Filipino"

I would rather say, "I am proud of Filipino's achievements", but not "I am proud to be a Filipino"

    kay lahi na nga story!

    gets ka? hala manayaw ta!

    100% semantic sugar.

Kun mahatagan og national award ang imong tatay o nanay, sayop diay nang moingon ka 'I am proud of my family' ?

Mora'g duna gyu'y nagpahiping anti-pinoy message kining imong thread, da. Tsk.tsk.tsk.

unsaon na man lang tong mga sundalo nato which have long gained the awe of foreign armed forces for their skill and dedication to their duty?

there are more than just limelight personalities to be proud of. usa pa, we should also do our part para naa sad ta'y ikaproud sa atong kaugalingon, not just being proud of other people's accomplishments.

Mapasigarbohon ako nga usa ka Pilipinong Bisaya

my point is u have to own up to your flaws pud
before you can be proud of something

you have to be committed to your identity regardless of how you were before what you currently are
you have to make a stand on what or who you are and that itself it pride no one can take away from you
dili kay imo lang identify imo kaugalingon to those glory attained and worked hard by others and the only connection between you and them is pareha ug spelling or has the same geographical local inyung countries

of course, maproud ko sa akong family. i can say, "I am proud of my family". I am proud that I am a Smith, because my father is a noble peace prize awardee" is sayup!

the fact, yanong, I'm not anti pinoy. Who is truly the anti-pinoy?
