the real controversy is when they die, they go to heaven and jesus's face doesn't even come close to what they keep seeing on statues, pictures and other 'holy' imagery.
i can also see some of these people are going to hell (considering the sections of society a few of them come from). i wonder what they're going to do when they find out hell has a ton of dangling, dancing one-eyed-wonders waiting for them.
to be fair, i think heaven should have sexy-man-rods too. honestly speaking, it should be mandatory, right?
as an artist myself, I feel offended that they call those... things, art. vandalism is more like it, and not the artistic sort but the "hey look at me I'm an attention whore" kind of vandalism.
anyway, overblown issue and attention seeking by these so called "artist" should hopefully be over now.
why is everyone is pissed off about this?
first, the imagery of jesus is most probably not what jesus looked like when he was alive. second, what would happen to the human race without that dangerous-dangler in between a man's legs?
Personally, I don't find anything offensive to it. But that's the thing with art, it's subjective so you can't really please everyone.
