From Cebu, plane to Tacloban, then vhire to Borongan.

If you have your own vehicle, take a ferry via Ormoc. Then drive to Tacloban and cross over to Samar via San Juanico Bridge.

On your way from Ormoc to Tacloban, moagi mo sa Carigara. If maabtan mo ug tingkaon didto, pangitaa ang Newtown restaurant. Gamay lang ni nga kan-anan pero lami kaayo ilang tinola, pakbet, humba ug fried nukos.

On the way to Borongan, you can swing by Basey for nice banigs, Marabut for lonely beaches and rock formations and Sohoton cave, natural bridge. Organized ilang support sa mga tourists in that area.

Wala pa ko kadiretso sa Borongan pero sa Marabut, we stayed at Caluwayan Beach Resort. Limpiyo ug mingaw.

Samar is an underrated tourist destination. Nindot didto kay daghan pang forests, beaches nga walay tawo, etc.

I've gone as far as Marabut. So far sementado na man ang karsada. If Ormoc imong entry point, good road all the way to Marabut. Naay part after Ormoc nga girepair but it's not that bad. Mangutana pa ko unsay sitwasyon sa karsada lapas sa Marabut.

Coming from Ormoc to Borongan by road is better na as compared before. The road is alternately cemented and asphalted though there stilll are portions nga under repair pa gyud. Mag unsa ka Borongan TS? Mamista ka?Wla man kay kalaagan didto oi.

^^Yah.. mamisita ko didto. I am interested to visit a place where my mother had enjoyed her last days with her company before she retired.
