Hi istoryans! I need a little help...

Just bumped into some insteresting job openings abroad, specifically Canada. I'm not familiar with the process of applying directly online through their website though. I am quite curious about how it works, like for example, if the company sees u as a candidate and invites u for a job interview (which is not yet your assurance of the job offer), must we fly to their country just to try the interview? And what if we're not hired, and u don't know anyone from there, where do we go next?

Bottomline guys, I just need to understand the process of overseas direct hiring without getting help through an agency, how it works, how much money might be needed, what things should be done, what should be avoided, what are the best options for applying abroad and how different is it from Manpower Pooling.
